Insurance & Direct Billing

We direct bill most insurance plans to make your visit as convenient as possible. While we work with the majority of insurance providers, there are a few plans that do not allow for direct billing, so payment may be required at the time of service for these exceptions. Gateway Pediatric Dentistry follows the Alberta Specialist Dental Fee Guide to ensure transparent, fair pricing for all our services.

Important Insurance Policy: We ask that families stay informed about their insurance benefits, including service frequencies, plan maximums, and allowances. We're happy to send treatment plans for preauthorization and routine appointments upon request. This approach helps us efficiently serve our patients while focusing on providing the best possible care for your child.

Payment is due at the time of service unless your insurance plan allows for direct billing. For families paying out-of-pocket or covering copays and deductibles, we're happy to provide detailed receipts for insurance reimbursement.
