We understand that dental visits can sometimes cause anxiety. Here are some tips to help prepare your child:
Keep it positive by using encouraging language when discussing the dental visit.
Avoid using fearful words. So instead of "shot" or "hurt," use gentle terms like "sleepy juice" or "tickle teeth."
Check out children's books about dental visits from your local library.
Play dentist at home. Take turns being the dentist and patient with your child to familiarize them with the experience.
Share your excitement with them. Let them know how fun it will be to visit our colorful, kid-friendly office. Show them our gallery page.
